IUM users are no longer logged in and receive the message “Configuration error” in the queue.
Another product access was set for the IUM Enable group. This must be removed again.
Why do I get the message "you don't have access to ..."
IUM uses a configurable removal job (e.g. 5 minutes) to remove all users who are inactive for longer than the inactivity time specified (e.g. 20 minutes).
To do this, IUM must put the inactive user into the "suspended" status (for about 30-60 seconds). They are then reset as an active user. Unfortunately, Atlassian does not allow any other way to end the session.
If the user reloads the browser at that moment, for example, or clicks on retry when they are suspended, they will receive the message "you don't have access to ..." from Atlassian.
If this happens, another browser reload after a short wait will help.
Why my data disappeared after the update?
The database is changed when updating to the new IUM version. Therefore, the data must be re-entered.
Why do I get the message "sorry, you can't view page" after reconnecting?
In this case, the IUM Forge extension is not installed. This prevents this page from displaying.
Without the extension, a simple browser reload should resolve the issue.
Why am I experiencing problems after updating IUM4Cloud Confluence from 2.x.x to 3.x.x?
Please check whether the Confluence site for the organization has been verified.
If not, please add the API key again. This will complete the check.
Why am I experiencing problems after updating IUM4Cloud Jira from 5.x.x to 6.x.x?
Please check whether the Jira site for the organization has been verified.
If not, please add the API key again. This will complete the check.
Why does IUM show "Read-only" in the IUM settings?
Why does a user keep losing space permissions?
Due to Atlassian's limitations, a guest user cannot be added to more than one space.
If an IUM user with a valid license is added to multiple spaces, Atlassian automatically removes that user from all space permissions as soon as they lose their license due to inactivity.
This causes problems when the user logs in again, as they no longer have any space permissions.

Why do my users receive a welcome email?
Upon each new login, users receive an email with the subject line:
"Intelligent User Management (IUM) - App has invited you to join Jira" or "Intelligent User Management (IUM) - App has invited you to join Confluence"
This email is sent automatically by Atlassian.
The recommendation is to filter this email directly at the mail server using the relevant subject line.
