Create Service Account

• Administration - Directory - Service Accounts
  

  

• Create new service account (either separately for Jira and Confluence or together)

• Select app roles for service account

  

  • Confluence: “User access admin” and “App admin”

  • Jira

    • Jira Administration: “App Admin”

    • Jira: “User access admin”

    • JSM (optional): “User access admin”

    • JPD (optional): “User access admin”

• Create credentials
  (either separately for Confluence and Jira or together)

  

  • Select OAuth 2.0

  • Select Scopes

    

  • required for:

    • Confluence

      

      
      write:group:confluence

      read:confluence-groups

      read:confluence-user

    • Jira

      

      
      read:avatar:jira

      read:group:jira

      read:user:jira

      write:group:jira

  • save the Client ID and Client Secret

• Inserting Client ID and Client Secret

Group selection

• Selection of the access groups to be monitored.
